New cards

I was a little bit upset Wednesday, although I wasn't surprise my falling out from the Heartfelt Creations contest for design team member call. Even if my work would be quite good, my language skill or deserted blog couldn't impressed them, I'm sure. I have to work harder maybe on the next year contest (if they held) I'll have a bigger chance:-) Anyway, my mood was good for creating some cards from those prints what I colored during holiday.

Well, I'm just filled out and send my application to the contest of Heartfelt Creation Inc.:-) I'm so exited, even don't give to much chance to myself going through the first round.

Working on a project, making a card much easier than describe it. I've to learn and practice little bit.

The last couple of weeks I was on holiday with my family. We're traveling with a camper, but even there I found some time for some craft. I took with myself some stamped image on watercolor card stock, water paint and a brush. Along the road I found the Yasamuto Pearlescent Water color 21 pc paint set and when I had time colored the images. Here they are:

I like all of them, but some turned very pretty, like those what painted with the pearl paint:

Recently my favorite type of card, the "box" card, looks great, but quite easy to make, here is one of them for example:

Returning, reopening, restart

Well, I'm here again. So long I've ignored my blog (almost two years!?), but never the card making and other crafts!:-) You may ask, whyI came back now, not earlyer, or later. The answer is easy, I've found an e-mail recently in my inbox from Heartfelt Creations! One of my favorite craft supplier! Invitation to became a design team member! Of course not directly, need to apply and easy can happen I'll not be one of those very talented crafters who will be choosing, but the possibility made me some extra energies to restart my blog:-)  Huh, that's it in this moment, early morning when I couldn't sleep and pick up my son's iPad and found that e-mail what could be change my life:-)

The last couple weeks ...

... I had to make some card for birthdays, namedays (custom in my born country) and anniversary.
These are:

This is a birthday card, what I made a friend. The picture is a free hand drawing by me, decorated with embossed sentiment and ribbon.
An other birthday card, embossed background and colored picture and embossed sentiment.

This card is for my parents anniversary (49.:-), blakc cardstok base, pink cardstoc with punched designs, ribbon and an embossed sentiment.

This card for my aunt for her nameday and get well  together. I used black cardstoc for base, coloured the stamp on a circle punched paper, some pink edge punched and ribbon decorat the background.

This card for my Grandma's nameday, simple lilac cardstoc base, ribbon en embossed decoration. The "Celebrate" word a piece of ribbon.

The next birthday card for one of my friend, the base a green cardstock, decorated with ribbon in a punched holes, embossed and punched strips and stamped sentiment.
I like this cute owl picture, coloured with pencil, the what cardstock decorted with ribbon and punched edge paper, stamped sentiments. I made it one of my god-daughter.

My younger god-dauther birthday will be soon, I sent her this easel card, what I decorated with stenciled fairy(godmother:-), round edge punched decoration, stamped sentiment.

Last not list a card for my father-in-low, he will be 88 soon, a very gold ages:-), so the buttercream cardstoc base decorated with shine embossed cardstocks, gold ribbon and embellished with hearts:-) The embossing folders was Happy birthday from cuttlebug, and Steampunk from Sizzix.

Happy "Word Card Making Day":-)

I haven't time to write anything yesterday to my blog, but I would like to share one of my favorite, simpliest card what I ever made:-)
I used a simple buttercream color cardstock (5x7) and a stencil, what I bought a few weeks ago, different colours of Tim Holtz disstress inks and thats it:-) I like this card, so I'm thinking just keep to myself, maybe later I make a sentiment for an ocassion to one of my aquintence who likes fishing and hunting:-)
